Real Estate Firm Seeks Elbow Room in North County

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage broke ground on a 6,000-square-foot new office on Vista Village Drive in Vista.

The building is owned by Regency Centers and, once complete, Coldwell Banker will lease the space for five years with multi-year extensions at a rate of $2.67 per square foot, according to published reports.

Coldwell Banker already has an office in Vista on 1890 Hacienda Drive, with about 70 real estate agents, but the real estate agency said it is growing rapidly and is in need of more office space.

Vista Mayor Morris Vance, City Manager Rita Geldert and Coldwell Banker Vista manager Susan Anderson were in attendance for the groundbreaking ceremony on March 22.

The new offices, which are expected to be completed in August, will finish off the first phase of Vista Village, an extensive redevelopment project in the heart of Vista.
