Bycor General Contractors won a contract to build 110,880 square feet of office and production space at 2091 Rutherford Road in Carlsbad for Bio-Hydration.

The company is also building out a 4,079-square-foot branch office for the San Diego Medical Credit Union at 8889 Rio San Diego Drive in Mission Valley.

At 4545 Murphy Canyon Road, Bycor won a contract to remodel 15,000 square feet on the third floor for Patenaude & Felix and speculative office suites on the second floor.

Douglas E. Barnhart Inc. will begin construction on the new Herbert Ibarra Elementary School for the San Diego Unified School District in January, and open the school in March of 2005. It will have six buildings on 8.5 acres and accommodate 650 students.
Architect: Ruhnau Ruhnau Clarke.
Cost: $15.4 million.
The Fallbrook Union Elementary School District recently selected the company to oversee modernization projects at the James E. Potter Junior High, Fallbrook Street Elementary, and Mary Fay Pendleton Elementary schools. The projects began in June and will end in August.

Erickson-Hall Construction Co. began construction on a new elementary school for the Bonsall Unified School District at the end of El Mirlo Street in Oceanside. It is in the master-planned community of Arrowood, developed by Richland Ventures.

Peterbuilt Corp. finished building an 18,000-square-foot facility for National University at 16875 W. Bernardo Drive with 11 classrooms, an open laboratory, and other rooms.
