Power Digital Launches ‘Breakthrough’ Intelligence App

MARKETING: Tech to Drive Impact at Scale Twice as Fast

San Diego’s Power Digital marketing firm is celebrating the launch of nova Intelligence – what it’s calling a breakthrough marketing application that can empower marketers with the information they need to scale, within minutes.

Power Digital reports that it invested heavily in R&D over the past 10 years to build out its nova platform and portfolio of nova applications. “In 2022,  Power  Digital  grew clients’ revenue 74% YoY on average, that’s 2.4x the industry standard,” added Mason. “With a diversified roster of brands ranging from startup to enterprise, nova can quickly diagnose not just marketing-related challenges, but business, product, sales and profitability-related challenges. We have engineered nova to not just be a marketing tool – but an ecosystem of applications that will help businesses understand what is fueling their growth or slowing it down.”

The initial launch of nova Intelligence includes three modules – nova Forecasts, nova Cohorts, and nova Customer Insights.

Power Digital says its nova Intelligence application automatically converts complex information straight from a brand’s website, media activities and CRM to provide business insights for clients. With nova Forecasts, the company says that clients can predict revenue streams by leveraging AI and machine learning to find trends across data points. “To many, AI can be a scary topic – however we are embracing it and look forward to what’s in store with this emerging technology,” stated Mason.

According to the company, the nova Cohorts application can identify quickly and accurately the best win audiences to drive immediate revenue growth.

Then, the nova Customer Insights application identifies which customers are valuable and provides feedback on their behaviors and preferences.

Within an hour after integrating within its new platform, the company says it can deliver these modules to a client – something it says would take months for a traditional agency to complete.

Following the rollout, an additional module is planned for launch this year. Until the end of 2023, existing Power Digital and prospective clients will have freeaccess to the nova Intelligence modules and insights.

Some of the company’s highest-profile brands include Aviator Nation, Hershey, Casper, Lord & Taylor, Pacifica, Square, FabFitFun, Sambazon, Smart Sweets and WP Engine. Local brands include COOLA, Taylor Guitars and Pura Vida.

One of its biggest success stories surrounds Açai purveyor Sambazon. San Diego saw a 36% growth in unit sales per store. Overall, the brand increased revenue by $2.8 million in test markets where Power Digital ran Meta, Google, Tiktok and programmatic ads.

“Getting results quickly is important – but driving sustainable, profitable growth is more important,” added Mason.

In July, Mason was promoted to CEO after serving as the company’s president. Founder and now former CEO Grayson Lafrenz  has moved to chairman of the company. Mason first joined the company in 2020 and comes with more than 20 years of leadership experience, including 18 years with Xerox where he led a team of more than 300 people.
