Thunderbird Products joined San Diego’s Sullivan Solar Power Oct. 25 in announcing the completion of a 74.43-kilowatt-AC photovoltaic installation at its El Cajon manufacturing facility.
The system consists of 252 SunPower 327-watt solar panels expected to produce more than 135,000 kilowatt-hours per year, enough to meet Thunderbird’s energy needs.
Thunderbird specializes in making copper products such as drains and vents.
Sullivan Solar provides turnkey solar systems. It has installed more than 1.5 megawatts of photovoltaic power across the San Diego region.
