Wireless Facilities Figure Ordered to Pay $6.2M

Vencent Donlan, a former stock options administrator for Wireless Facilities Inc., a San Diego company that changed its name last year to Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc., was ordered to pay $6.2 million in disgorgement, plus interest of $153,611, as part of an agreement with the Securities and Exchange Commission that was approved by federal Judge John Houston on Feb. 22 in San Diego.

Donlan and his wife, Robin Donlan Colls, who also was held jointly and severally liable for the payment, engaged in a fraudulent granting of WFI options and stock from 2002 to 2003 while he was at the company.

The couple obtained the stock illegally, sold it on the open market and invested parts of the profits to purchase property in the San Diego area, including homes in Del Cerro and Julian.

In July, Vencent Donlan pleaded guilty to two counts of fraud. He is serving a 46-month prison sentence.
