Mountain View-based VeriSign Inc. announced Nov. 27 that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire San Diego-based wireless business and technology consulting company inCode Wireless for $52 million.
According to VeriSign spokeswoman Lisa Malloy, branding strategies and employee relocations have not been determined but will be ironed out by year-end when the deal is expected to close.
VeriSign creates technological infrastructures that facilitate and secure online transactions.
InCode has more than 300 employees in 14 offices across 10 countries.
