Solera Strikes Five-Year Deal

Solera Holdings Inc., a San Diego company that provides software to the auto insurance industry, said Dec. 14 that the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia has extended its relationship with its Audatex subsidiary.

Terms of the five-year deal were not disclosed. The Canadian insurance company has been a customer since 1987.

Under the deal, ICBC will migrate to Audatex’s next-generation platform.

Solera trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol SLH. Shares were at $25.25 late in the day Dec. 14, up 16 cents from the previous day’s close.

The software company recently moved its headquarters from the Bay Area city of San Ramon to San Diego. Solera has 200 San Diego employees and 2,100 employees in all.
