The Shidler Group announced Dec. 20 that its affiliates have purchased a 15-building portfolio, containing more than 1 million square feet of office properties in San Diego, Orange and Los Angeles counties, for $187 million.
The seller is Arden Realty Inc., a fully integrated real estate company based in Los Angeles.
Three of the projects, containing four buildings, are in San Diego County , the Carlsbad Corporate Center on Camino Vida Roble; 13550 Stowe Drive in Poway; and two buildings at 10965-10993 Via Frontera in San Diego.
The portfolio is 85 percent occupied and houses 121 tenants that represent health care, technology, financial services and other industries.
“This represents the second portfolio of 1 million or more square feet that the Shidler Group has acquired from Arden Realty,” said Matt Root, a Shidler partner. “We continue to remain very bullish on the long-term benefits of being invested in quality properties throughout Southern California.”
A national real estate firm, the Shidler Group has its Western regional headquarters in San Diego.
