San Diego-based SGIS said Dec. 20 that it received a Navy electronics contract worth a potential $158 million over nine years.
The Spawar Systems Center in Charleston, S.C., awarded the prime contract for C4ISR work. The abbreviation stands for command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
SGIS says it will provide services to support engineering, technical, logistical, management, information technology, sustainment and administrative requirements on C4ISR systems and equipment. SGIS will also develop new tools and tactical displays for the Navy.
Most work will be done in Charleston.
