Sempra Energy declared a dividend of 35 cents per share of common stock Sept. 9. The sum is payable Oct. 15 to shareholders of record Sept. 25.
The energy holding company increased its dividend 9 percent to $1.40 per year in May.
Sempra trades on the New York Stock Exchange as SRE. Shares closed Sept. 9 at $57.20, down 16 cents from the prior day.
