Representatives from high-tech, telecom and related industries are invited to familiarize themselves with the computer science capabilities at San Diego State University during a program in March.
The university’s ACSESS Outreach and Computational Sciences Curriculum Development Forum is set to run from 12:30 to 5 p.m. March 9 on campus at Montezuma Hall.
The cost is $25. People who register before March 1 may attend for free.
Guests will learn more about San Diego State’s curriculum in computer-based and physical-based sciences. University representatives will also be available to discuss potential changes that might better prepare graduates for the workplace.
The afternoon is a presentation of SDSU’s Computational Science Research Center, in conjunction with the Applied Computational Science and Engineering Student Support program.
Information on the forum is available on the Web at www.sci.sdsu.edu/compsciwork/Outreach/index.htm.
