The San Diego Regional Technology Alliance has received the Vision 2000 Models of Excellence Award.
The national award was handed out at the States and Small Business Conference earlier this month in Washington, D.C.
Vision 2000 is designed to showcase outstanding initiatives that advance small business programs and policies.
Winners of the national award were selected from hundreds of nominations submitted by the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Advocacy.
“These award-winning small business programs and leaders are the surest guarantee for small business success in the new millennium,” said Jere W. Glover, chief counsel for the office of advocacy.
Created in 1994, the RTA is a public-private partnership that helps foster and support technology-based economic development throughout the state.
Ninyo & Moore Land Marine Contract
Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical and Environmental Science Consultants of San Diego has been drafted by the U.S. Marine Corps. The company will be providing consulting services to the Marine Corps on three base-exchange construction projects, said Elizabeth Morud, a company spokeswoman.
