SGIS has hired Paula Richardson as the associate vice president, Space Systems Division, West Coast operations. She will be responsible for managing activities and performance of employees, providing strategic plans, reviewing contracts to ensure accuracy, analyzing financial data for contracts and managing compliance requirements. Most recently, Richardson was the senior program manager at Panasonic Avionics Corp. Richardson has given back to the community through a variety of organizations: she is a Girl Scouts of Orange County leader, Trinity School treasurer and has served as a South Africa Missionary leader. She is a project management professional and has obtained Siebel certification. She has held communications security, extended background investigation and top secret clearances.
Banking and Finance
San Diego National Bank has hired Kori Dolkas as assistant vice president and branch manager for its Carlsbad branch. Dolkas has more than 27 years of banking experience in the Encinitas and Carlsbad areas. She was most recently with California Bank & Trust.
Joe Mishriki has been named business area manager for Southern California Regional Banking for Wells Fargo. Mishriki, a 16-year veteran of Wells Fargo, will be responsible for business strategy in the region, which includes San Diego, San Bernardino, Riverside and Imperial counties.
U.S. Bank Home Mortgage has hired Mirek Gorny as a mortgage lender in the San Diego area. Gorny has more than four years of experience in the mortgage industry and is a licensed real estate agent.
Construction and Design
Industrial Metal Supply Co. has hired Martin Mechsner as general manager and chief engineer of the company’s fabrication division. Mechsner is also president of the Small Manufacturers’ Institute and president of Schober’s Machine and Engineering.
Fehlman LaBarre has promoted Andrew Stevenson to principal. Stevenson has been with the firm since its beginning in 1991. Tom Barich, the firm’s controller of five years, has been appointed senior associate. Barich is responsible for the firm’s accounting, human resources, contracts and other business matters. Eric Epstein has been appointed associate in the firm. Epstein has been an instructor at San Diego’s New School of Architecture for the past two years.

Pamela Coker has been appointed executive director of the Coronado School of the Arts Foundation. Coker will provide professional leadership to the foundation, working closely with the board, staff and the community to develop and implement a strategic direction for the school.
Peyton Bray has been named director of school life for Pacific Ridge School. Bray will be responsible for ensuring students understand the community rules of conduct, organize student social activities, act as a liaison to the Parents Association, lead middle school service learning and teach Algebra.
North County Trade Tech High School has hired Kathleen O’Sullivan as director of new schools development. O’Sullivan will oversee the replication efforts of Trade Tech as part of the newly formed partnership with the Gary and Mary West Foundation.

Recon Environmental Inc. has appointed Robert MacAller as president. Prior to his selection as president, MacAller managed the firm’s agency team and has been a leader in habitat restoration programs for clients throughout the Southwest for more than 15 years.

Elaine Galinson has been named chair of the Jewish Women’s Foundation. Galinson previously served as chair of the Jewish Community Foundation’s Leadership Council. She also serves on the national board of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee.

MeringCarson has hired Account Supervisor, Media Planner Christy Morley, Creative Director Rob Petrie and Management Supervisor Tammy Haughey. Haughey will be responsible for the firm’s California Travel and Tourism Commission account. She will oversee the strategic planning and brand direction of the account. Petrie has more than 18 years of industry experience and has worked on global brands, including Sony, Jaguar, TaylorMade Golf, Kyocera and others. Morley will be working on the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau account.

Jet Source has named Ken Curry as president and chief operating officer. Curry has more than 30 years of experience in the aviation industry. Curry most recently served the industry for more than six years as president of KC Aviation Consultants.

Andy Huggett has joined Studley has an associate director. Huggett previously worked in senior positions for the San Diego offices of NAI Global and UGL Equis, where he specialized in commercial tenant representation in Southern California and the Southwestern United States.
Willis Allen Real Estate has hired realtor Suzette Gibbs. Prior to joining the real estate marketplace, Gibbs was a computer software manager who covered the Western United States and all of Canada.

Red Door Interactive has hired Mario Gallardo as senior business manager. Gallardo comes to the agency from Doner, and brings a wealth of social media, mobile campaign and cross platform promotion experience to the firm
General Dynamics Nassco promoted David Carver to vice president of repair. Carver will oversee Nassco’s ship repair business.
