After weeks of research, the
San Diego Business Journal
has compiled its annual List of San Diego’s Wealthiest people. Some of the names are well known; others are not. This year’s List is comprised of 25 people , seven of whom are billionaires. Topping The List is Ernest Rady at $2.3 billion.
The Journal’s research included looking at stock holdings, real estate values and the size of philanthropic donations made in recent years, among other things, along with checking with inside sources, to calculate rough estimates of San Diegans’ wealth.
