The Army on July 9 awarded SAIC a $6.2 million contract for professional support services.
SAIC, also known as Science Applications International Corp., will serve the office of the assistant secretary of the Army for acquisition, logistics and technology. Work will be done in the Washington, D.C., area and is expected to be completed by July 2011, according to the Department of Defense.
