SAIC, the San Diego research and engineering firm, said May 22 it was awarded a two-year task order by the Naval Surface Warfare Center with a value of $243 million if all options are exercised.
The work will be performed mainly at NSWC in Indiana, as well as at other U.S. military installations.
In its last fiscal year ended Jan. 31, SAIC had revenue of $8.9 billion. The company is also known as Science Applications International Corp. Shares of company stock, traded on the New York Stock Exchange as SAI, stood at $19.39 at midday May 22, up 9 cents from the previous day’s close.
