Ninteman Construction Co. of San Diego has finished a six-story office building and separate parking garage at Seaview Corporate Center in Sorrento Mesa, a company official said.
GAA Architects of Irvine designed the 127,000-square-foot office building at 10182 Telesis Court. Ninteman employees designed the 265,000-square-foot parking structure.
The garage’s rotunda has retail space for a delicatessen. A swimming pool, tennis court and exercise room with showers and lockers are included in the center’s amenities, said Diane Clark, a Ninteman spokeswoman.
Lennar Partners of Irvine and The Muller Co. of Laguna Hills are developing the project.
Ninteman’s San Diego-area subcontractors on the office building were C & B; Steel, Brian Cox Mechanical, Neal Electric, Paschall Plumbing, Grinnell Fire Protection, Tower Glass, and Brady Co., Clark said.
Meanwhile, JenJor Development Inc. of San Diego finished constructing a 10,000-square-foot building at Broadway Plaza, 45 N. Broadway, Chula Vista.

Collins General Contractors of San Diego just started work on 28,000 square feet of additional retail space at Scripps Ranch Marketplace at Scripps Poway Parkway and Spring Canyon Road.

Washington Mutual Bank will occupy one of them, he said. North Island Federal Credit Union, McMillin Realty of National City and Jo-Tes Day Spa will be tenants in another.
Santorini Island Grill and Planet Smoothies will occupy the food court space that’s being created.
The McMillin Commercial Group of National City is developing the property.

Several local construction companies participated in the building of the 68,000-square-foot city of Carlsbad administrative building at 1635 Faraday Ave. in Carlsbad, said Joe O’Hollearn, project manager for IR2-Interior Resource Inc. of San Diego, which provided space planning and project management.
Smith Consulting Architects of San Diego created the construction documents. Firouzi Consulting Engineers Inc. of Rancho Bernardo did the structural engineering and Kruse & Associates of San Diego designed the electrical systems.
