Stephen Roel Retires as Chief Executive Officer of S.D.-based Roel Construction
While America watched in horror as hijackers flew airplanes into the World Trade Center towers in New York City nearly two weeks ago, property managers thought of the tenants in their own properties and shuddered to think what would happen if terrorists attacked their buildings.
Building Owners and Managers Association International, which is headquartered in Washington, D.C., and BOMA San Diego are collecting information on building security and tenant safety for its members and tenants of commercial buildings. The information is posted at (www.boma.org/emergency).
Through its Commercial Real Estate Education and Research Foundation, BOMA International is collecting tax-deductible donations for a relief fund, which will directly benefit the people affected by the World Trade Center attack. Donations should be mailed to the foundation to the attention of Ann Coslett at 1201 New York Ave. NW, Suite 300, Washington, D.C. 20005.
