Ophthonix, a San Diego firm that is developing new types of corrective lenses, received $35.1 million in a Series D round of venture funding, the company announced Dec. 14.
Leading the funding round was DAG Ventures, along with new investor Palo Alto Investors. Others included in the latest round are San Diego-based Enterprise Partners and Silicon Valley heavyweights Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
The latest investment allows Ophthonix to continue rolling out two types of lenses. The company has raised $75 million in venture funding, a spokeswoman said.
