Titan Corp. will conduct software verification and validation for NASA in a deal that could be worth as much as $200 million over five years.
Titan will compete with one other vendor, Northrop Grumman Information Technology, for specific tasks under the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract awarded recently by the Goddard Space Flight Center of Greenbelt, Md.
NASA said the work will support programs such as the Space Shuttle, International Space Station and the James Webb Space Telescope. Titan said its work may also support robotic spacecraft programs and the President’s Space Exploration Initiative.
Titan trades on the New York Stock Exchange as TTN.
