Local Printer Makes ‘I Voted’ Stickers

Local entrepreneur Rodger Price , a self-confessed political junkie , enjoys being part of the great American system without the arduous entrance process.

Price’s firm, RB Price Co., Inc., has been printing “I Voted” stickers for 30 of California’s 58 counties. The stickers are given to voters after they return their ballots on election days.

“I get a hoot from following politics in the news,” he said. “So, this is my way of staying personally involved in the political process without ever running for office.”

Over the years, Price estimates that he’s sold 20 million of the “I Voted” stickers. He just signed a series of contracts with nine counties that call for 2.7 million more, for the March 2000 primary and the subsequent November election.

His other projects have included a “Got mulch?” sticker for city recycling programs, and “Thank You for Coming” stickers for locally based Rubio’s Baja Grill.
