Kearny Mesa Complex 100 Percent Sold

Soledad Development Group has sold 100 percent of its new five-building business park, Highland Skypark. Five separate buyers acquired property in the development, located near the intersection of Ruffin Road and Aero Drive in Kearny Mesa. The five transactions, announced July 24, were made within a six-month period and have a combined total of $15.7 million.

The project’s buyers are RBA Properties LLC, Four D Funding LLC, San Diego Office Interiors, Highland Park Surgical Center and the YMCA of San Diego County.

The former San Diego County Medical Society headquarters building was situated on the property before it was demolished in early 2006. The Highland Skypark redevelopment includes office and medical-use buildings that range in size from 4,800 to 20,000 square feet.

Bank of America provided construction financing for the project. Deborah Hunkeler and Jay Arnett of Burnham Real Estate represented the seller in the transactions.
