Hewlett Packard Co.’s Imaging and Printing Group brought in quarterly revenue of $6.5 billion, up 8 percent over the same quarter one year ago, the company announced Feb. 15.
The unit employs the bulk of HP’s San Diego employees. An HP spokesman said company policy prohibits him from reporting the number of people HP has at a particular site.
Revenue for the quarter ended Jan. 31 was down 3.5 percent from the quarter ended Oct. 31.
Hewlett Packard, based in Palo Alto, reported the unit’s results as part of its earnings announcement. Overall quarterly earnings were $1.2 billion on revenue of $22.7 billion.
