San Diego-based Golden Equity Mortgage Corp. said Dec. 4 that it was expanding lending services into the commercial real estate market. GEM Commercial Lending will focus on clients financing commercial and multifamily properties.
Industry veteran Joy Hunner will serve as executive vice president of GEM Commercial Lending. Hunner was last vice president and co-owner of Monterey Commercial Capital in San Diego. Prior to her tenure with Monterey, Hunner spent 20 years in various loan and banking positions.
Will Grant will serve as vice president. Grant has 30 years of experience in commercial lending. Most recently Grant worked for Provident Commercial Banking and Washington Mutual.
