Geary Interactive Makes a Move Into the Big Apple

If they can make it there, they can make it anywhere.

San Diego-based Geary Interactive announced the opening of a New York City office, bringing its number of offices nationwide to three. Laurie Arakawa, former director of account services for Geary’s Downtown San Diego office, is managing the new office, which is on Park Avenue South.

According to Geary Interactive President and Chief Executive Officer Andreas Roell, the expansion is a matter of customer service.

“Our proximity to major companies on the East Coast will benefit our clients there and open further opportunities to us,” Roell said.

Geary Interactive’s clients include Trump International, Hewlett-Packard, Eddie Bauer, Paramount Parks and 20th Century Fox.

The opening of the New York office marks the second time this year that Geary has expanded its presence. In July, Geary opened an office in Las Vegas.

The online advertising agency also announced this month that it has received the Web Marketing Association’s WebAward for Best University Web site for its work on behalf of San Diego State University. The award stems from an international award competition that drew a record 2,100 entries from 33 countries.
