San Diego-based CAIS Internet, Inc. has teamed up with seven major local telecommunications providers, including SBC Communications, to provide high-speed Internet access to 1.2 million rooms in 9,000 hotels and 200,000 residences in 600 multifamily buildings nationwide.
CAIS already provides Internet kiosks in hotels around the nation, such as the Hilton, Doubletree Suites, Ramada and Hampton Inn.
