Dataskill Heads South for Software Talent

Dataskill, a San Diego software as a service company, has opened a new office in Tijuana, Mexico to support it’s “no-shore” delivery model, the company said Oct. 30.

No-shore provides clients with account management services and consultants based in Mexico , which allows U.S. companies to leverage the benefits of offshore operations without literally crossing an ocean, Dataskill says.

Dataskill has initiated partnerships with several Mexico universities, where the nation’s leading consultants teach. The consultants can also schedule face-to-face meetings when they need to.

“For Dataskill, we believe this is one small step we can take in fostering positive cross-border relations and promoting business in the region,” said Dave Druker, general manager of Dataskill International, a subsidiary of Dataskill Inc.

The majority of Dataskill’s Mexico-based staff will focus on software development projects related to social networking and Microsoft Dot Net applications.
