In a July 2 story (“Goodrich to Take Flight With Rollout of 787”), Jeff Rogers’ title was incorrect. He is Goodrich Aerostructures’ vice president of 787 development.

In the July 9 issue, the story headlined “Sharp HealthCare’s Nurses Union Plans 3-Day Walkout July 16” stated that Sharp officials said including the state law mandating nurse-to-patient ratios in a new contract is “unnecessary.” As a point of clarification, Sharp officials said they believe that it is unnecessary to include the law’s language in the contract.

The July 9 story headlined “Rady Children’s Hospital Drives Down Turnover Rate for Nurses” said the annual turnover rate for nurses had been reduced to 9.6 percent from 27 percent. The lower rate applies only to newly graduated nurses within the first year of employment.

The Business Journal regrets the errors.
