Placer Sierra Bancshares purchased Southwest Community Bank, and then Wells Fargo acquired Placer Sierra. Southwest Community did not merge with Wells Fargo, as reported in the Jan. 7 story, “Local Banks Keep in Check With Economy, Forge Ahead for 2008.” The Business Journal regrets the error.
