About 40 San Diego community planning groups will hold elections for vacant board seats in March.
The groups review development projects and make recommendations before the plans are brought before the city’s hearing officer, Planning Commission and City Council.
The groups are based on planning areas which could encompass several neighborhoods. Eligibility to run for the seats may require attending several meetings.
