Boise State Takes Perfect Record to Poinsettia Bowl

San Diego’s two college football bowl games were set Dec. 7, with the first game, the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl on Dec. 23, looking as the more attractive matchup between No. 9 Boise State and No. 11 Texas Christian University.

The Pacific Life Holiday Bowl on Dec. 30 pits No. 13 Oklahoma State against No. 17 Oregon. Both games start at 5 p.m. and are played at Qualcomm Stadium.

Boise State is coming off a perfect 12-0 season to take the championship of the Western Athletic Conference. TCU comes in with a 10-2 record and second place in the Mountain West conference.

In the Holiday Bowl, Oklahoma State finished the season with a 9-3 record, and fourth place in the Big 12 Conference South Division. Oregon, from the Pacific 10 Conference, had a 9-3 record for second place.
