West Coast Aquarium Industries has purchased a suite adjoining its showroom in Kearny Mesa, to be used as a production site instead of the Vista property WCAI acquired in June.
Louie Ortiz, the company’s president and CEO, said the move would reduce the price of aquariums by reducing travel costs of finished products. The new location will also be used for showcasing used aquariums.
The company specializes in the design, manufacture and distribution of custom aquarium systems.
