The San Diego Union-Tribune
has collaborated with four Southern California newspapers and one Nevada newspaper to launch a region-wide preprint distribution program.
The program, dubbed Value Network, will offer advertisers the chance to reach up to 7.2 million households every week in the newspapers’ combined distribution area, by distributing preprint insert packages with each publication.
The preprint insert packages will include advertisements, coupons and other marketing materials.
The six newspapers will distribute the preprint packages on Thursdays and Fridays to home-delivery subscribers. The network is expected to reach 24 percent of the region’s geographic footprint, according to the publications.
The participating newspapers include the
Las Vegas Review-Journal, Los Angeles Times, The Orange County Register, The Press-Enterprise,
which is located in Riverside, and the
Ventura County Star.
