The San Diego Quick Pitch Competition, now in its eighth year and renamed the John G. Watson Quick Pitch Competition, announced its field of 11 finalist startups.
The competitors will present their business plans in pitches lasting less than two minutes to a panel of judges Sept. 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Irwin Jacobs Qualcomm Hall. The main sponsor of the event is the Tech Coast Angels.
The pitches will be evaluated on investor potential and presentation quality, with winners announced that evening. They will receive cash awards and other prizes.
This year’s finalists are AstroPrint; Companion Medical; CleverPet; Doctible; Electrozyme; Get TAGit Inc.; Hush Technology Inc.; nPruv Inc.; Primo Wind Inc.; StrongVolt; and Wyldfire.
