Anametrix Inc., a San Diego maker of digital analytics software, said it received $4.4 million in Series A funding from TVC Capital, a local private equity firm that focuses on the software industry.
The company’s technology enables clients to collect and analyze data across all channels to better market products and services.
The firm’s clients include the University of California San Diego Health System and Beachbody.
This is the first investment for TVC Capital’s second fund which closed in September with $75 million.

Anametrix said it plans to use the funding to expand its staffing in sales, product marketing, analysts and development engineers.
