Torrie Inouye Appointed President of National Funding

Alternative lender National Funding on Monday said it had appointed Torrie Inouye as president after several years as executive vice president of data and analytics.

Inouye will report directly to CEO and founder Dave Gilbert, who will continue managing the company’s portfolio, financial operations, human resources and legal departments. Inouye, National Funding’s first president, will be in charge of day-to-day operations, including sales, marketing, technology and analytics divisions.

Inouye first worked for National Funding in 2004 in its accounting department, helping the lender register with various state taxing authorities. She later moved into its analytics department and left in 2007, eventually serving as a business analyst for Intuit’s Turbo Tax division. She returned to National Funding in 2014 to build out its analytics team.

The company’s revenue grew about 70 percent in 2015 to about $66 million. Since its founding in 1999, it has loaned nearly $1.5 billion in capital.
