SDBJ 500 recap: Mark Read serves as the regional president for Kidder Mathews’ Southwest region and since 2015 has helped the firm open offices in San Diego, Phoenix, Irvine, Carlsbad, the Inland Empire and three offices in Los Angeles County. He came to Kidder Mathews from Voit Real Estate Services, where he was responsible for the company’s Orange County, Inland Empire and Los Angeles offices. Before that, he was first a broker and then a senior managing director for CBRE, where he managed 220 employees and 100 sales professionals in the San Diego region.
