Mason-McDuffie Mortgage Corp., a privately held mortgage banking firm headquartered in San Ramon, is opening an office in La Jolla.
Rhonda Beathard, a long-time resident and mortgage firm manager in San Diego, will lead the operation. She has lived and worked in the area throughout her 30-year career.
“Our La Jolla office, with its experienced team of managers and loan officers, is our first step into this market,” Beathard said. “My goal will be to expand the Mason-McDuffie presence into other locations in San Diego County.”
The La Jolla team includes Branch Manager Dave Morris, Assistant Manager Jason Grigsby and Loan Officers Richard Smythe and Anthea Wong. Morris, a Navy veteran, has more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry. All members of the team have been serving clients in the broader San Diego area for a number of years.
