San Diego-based Renovate America has completed a $100 million credit facility with Credit Suisse, the company announced this week.
Renovate America said the facility will enable it to expand Benji, the company’s unsecured consumer home-improvement loan product.
Benji, the company’s newest financing option, is designed for “well-qualified” borrowers looking to finance home improvements.
Renovate America is best known as a provider of financing for residential property-assessed clean energy loan programs through its Home Energy Renovation Opportunity (HERO) program, which has financed more than $2.1 billion of home improvements through partnerships with local governments.
