PitchFest Competitors Head Into Final Inning

Four local startups have made it to the final round of San Diego Venture Group’s annual VC PitchFest.

The finalists will compete one last time at SDVG’s PitchFest Dinner on Dec. 13, where the audience will decide the winner.

A total of 12 startups made it to the semi-finals, where the companies pitched to a panel of venture capitalist judges. These four startups were chosen by the VCs to advance to the last round:

Approved, a fintech firm developing software for loan officers and processors; Lymber, a company that developed an app for boutique fitness studios; Poiesis Therapeutics, a biotech developing veterinary drugs; and Sun

Genomics, a company offering services to the life science industry.

Winners get exposure, bragging rights, and prizes. Recent PitchFest winners included Portfolium and Companion Medical.
