More than 500 kids and parents filled Del Sur Elementary’s main hall for the fourth annual Mathnasium Math Night, participating in math and STEM-focused games and activities. The Del Sur Elementary PTA was one of only 35 recipients in the U.S to receive a $1,000 grant from Mathnasium in partnership with the National PTA during the 2018-2019 academic year. The funds supported the Math Night and other items and programs related to the school’s STEM initiatives.
Mathnasium of 4S Ranch has hosted Math Night at Del Sur Elementary School for the past four years, and it hopes to continue this annual tradition at the school.
Karen Lossing, executive director, Mathnasium of 4S Ranch said: “We focus on building confidence in math for students of all skill levels in a way that is fun, engaging and inspirational.
