San Diego-based HD Supply Facilities Maintenance, a national supplier of maintenance and operations products used in the multifamily, hospitality, educational and commercial property industries, announced June 14 that it is acquiring Peachtree Business Products of Atlanta, Ga.
An HD Supply spokeswoman said financial terms are not being disclosed, but the deal is expected to close by the end of the month. HD Supply Facilities Maintenance employs 805 people in San Diego County, and Peachtree employs 158 in Georgia.
Peachtree specializes in customizable business and property marketing supplies, serving residential and commercial property managers, medical facilities, schools and universities, churches and funeral homes, according to a statement from HD Supply.
The local facilities maintenance supply firm, with headquarters at Scripps Ranch, is a subsidiary of Atlanta-based HD Supply, which serves customers in infrastructure and energy, maintenance and repair, and specialty construction markets. It has 640 offices in 45 states and nine Canadian provinces.
The facilities maintenance division posted $1.9 billion in revenue in 2011, amounting to 27 percent of the parent firm’s $7 billion, the spokeswoman said in an email.
