Michael Sabellico of Encinitas-based Vanguard Global Solutions was recently named Veteran Small Business Champion by the Santa Ana office of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Sabellico received the award on May 21 as part of Small Business Week 2014.
Vanguard Global Solutions specializes in homeland security, emergency preparedness and business consulting. It is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, certified by the state of California as a disabled veteran business enterprise.
Sabellico is also chapter president for the California Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise Alliance.
