Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc. reported a net loss of $6.2 million but strong revenue growth in its second quarter of 2017.
Its $185.7 million of revenue was up 10.4 percent from $168.2 million in the year-ago quarter.
Its net loss for the second quarter of 2016 was $10.4 million or 17 cents per share.
Looking at its unmanned systems business, the business reported sequential growth of 42.3 percent between the first quarter and second quarter.
Kratos (Nasdaq: KTOS) gets 60 percent of its revenue from the U.S. government, 29 percent from commercial, state and local government customers, and 11 percent from international customers.
