GA ASI Gets $310 Million Army Contract

The U.S. Army awarded General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. a $310 million contract for one year of logistics to sustain the Army’s Gray Eagle unmanned aircraft.

The Gray Eagle is a variant of GA Aeronautical’s original Predator plane.

Work will be done in Poway and last through Oct. 23, 2017.

The Army Contracting Command of Redstone Arsenal, Ala. awarded the deal, announced Oct. 21. So far the Pentagon has obligated $74 million for the contract.
