Epsilon Systems Solutions Inc. said it received a $5.7 million contract to overhaul the Arco, a floating dry dock that the U.S. Navy uses to service submarines in San Diego.
The contract also contains options which would bring the deal up to $7.7 million.
Work will be done in San Diego and is expected to last six months.
The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center awarded the deal.
The Arco services the nuclear-powered submarines of Submarine Squadron 11 as well as other small craft.
