North San Diego Business Chamber announced Keith Wilschetz will be the chairman of its board of directors for the 2016-2017 term.
Wilschetz is the director of airport planning and noise mitigation for the San Diego Regional Airport Authority. According to a news release from the chamber, he will serve a one-year term.
“Keith has proven himself to be a tireless leader on collaborating, competitiveness, and many issues of interest to the business community,” said Debra Rosen, chamber president and chief executive officer, in the release. “We look forward to working with him to continue growing the chamber initiatives of job creation, business advocacy, economic development, Operation Connect and other chamber programs.”
The chair-elect and the rest of the board of directors were also named, including representatives from Petco, Sharp Rees-Stealy, Northrop Grumman, Maderas Golf Club and others.
The chamber spans from Interstate 8 North to Highway 78, representing multiple sectors and companies throughout the region.
