A total of 890 institutions across 58 countries and territories have earned AACSB accreditation in business.
“AACSB accreditation recognizes institutions that have demonstrated a focus on excellence in all areas, including teaching, research, curriculum development and student learning,” said Stephanie M. Bryant, executive vice president and chief accreditation officer of AACSB.
San Diego County is making it easier for businesses to host mobile vaccination events at their business locations.
The initiative is an effort to increase access to COVID-19 vaccines, specifically for employees who have work schedules that may make it hard for them to travel or find a traditional vaccination site.

Continuing our May celebration of Asian and Pacific Islander Entrepreneurs, on Thursday, May 20, the San Diego Business Journal and the Asian Business Association San Diego will host the 2021 Asian/Pacific Islander Businesses of the Year Awards virtually at 2 p.m. The ceremony will also include a virtual panel discussion on access to capital for Asian and Pacific Islander small businesses. Panelists will include: Javier Iglesias, senior vice president and business banking market leader of US Bank, Deep Lam, senior vice president , treasury management consultant of Wells Fargo Bank; and Rob Disotell, chief lending officer of California Coast Credit Union.
