San Diego-based Connect named 21 finalists for its Most Innovative New Product Awards. The companies will have the chance to showcase everything from medical devices to software solutions at the Dec. 5 event, with the chance to compete for the title of “most innovative.”
To be selected, companies must have introduced the product in 2017 or later, and must have generated revenue from sales. In addition, products may not be selected as finalists more than once.
Co-Hosts
This year will be the first year that Connect and the San Diego Venture Group (SDVG) have hosted the event together. The two organizations merged in April, bringing together one of San Diego’s oldest startup accelerators with a nonprofit that has helped attract investors to the region.
“We are very excited to be celebrating cutting edge entrepreneurship in San Diego through the Most Innovative New Product Awards,” Connect with SDVG CEO Mike Krenn said in a news release. “Our mission is to promote and support innovative companies in San Diego, and our finalists this year are leading the way in technology and life sciences.”
