TheCoderSchool, an after-school program that teaches children to code, is slated to open its first San Diego location in June.
The school, a franchise of the Silicon Valley-based company that launched in 2014, will be owned and operated by Marcel Brunello and Renata Yamazaki.
Searching for a coding program for their son led Brunello and Yamazaki to discover theCoderSchool, which teaches children age 7 to age 18 computer programming skills, including a variety of coding languages.
The site at 9879 Carmel Mountain Road is one of two theCoderSchool locations the couple plans to open in San Diego.
TheCoderSchool, which has been franchising since 2016, operates 20 schools in eight states.
